You can destroy the Soul Jars immediately upon picking them up, while in the Dark Cave, but I actually recommend killing the necromancers in a fight or succeeding in the persuasion check first for a little extra experience. After you complete the maze you can enter the tower where you will find three necromancers, Tamsyn, Rask, and Gwick. You can find the tower at location (46) of the Fort Joy вЂ“ Hollow Marsh map. While exploring the world, you will discover the ruins of a maze (the Gargoyle Maze) that lead to a tower overlooking the coast. This quest only becomes available after you have escaped Fort Joy.
